Chrissy Foreman C is a Brisbane-based artist specialising in fabric infused artworks, community art, public art, fabric jewellery, teaching and eco art projects.

Chrissy's art-making process unfolds organically and is heavily influenced by her life experience, feelings and memories. Her highly textured, mixed media artworks are blended with fabrics, layers and pattern, allowing the artist to process ideas and create narratives on many angles and levels.

Chrissy's home studio is stocked with a huge range of patterned fabrics, papers, materials, stationery, old books, trinkets, stamps, paint, jewellery, magazines and pre-loved materials in various textures, colours and styles.

In her community artworks, Chrissy Foreman C has worked with all ages and abilities facilitating public art projects, murals and creative programs with public, community and private sectors within Australia and internationally.

Much of Chrissy's recent work has been influenced by environmental sustainability and working with pre-loved materials; a creative process she believes involves an element of alchemy.
